VAREX extrusion
lines represent the latest state of the art in
blown film technology.
They combine decades of field experience with continuous and consistent
R&D. Customers
opting for the VAREX can
therefore be sure to go for the very best film quality, outstanding
ergonomics, economical use of resources, short
start-up and change-over times as well
as reduced waste
and high productivity.
For the production of mono, 3, 5, 7, and 9 layer films, an extensive range
of dies is available. To mention just two examples: First,
the
new MAXICONE C
3-layer die featuring an extremely compact design and significantly
reduced melt volumes which, in turn,
reduce melt pressure to the very minimum. Second,
the
MAXICONE 9-layer
die which is designed to handle even the
most extreme layer ratios and offers the film converter unmatched
flexibility with respect to resin selection as well as layer combinations.
All of the dies feature the field proven OPTIFIL P
process
automation concept. Through selective control of the
melt temperature, film gauge tolerances are minimized, while
at the same time consistent film quality is achieved at high output rates.
With nearly 1000 systems sold and in operation world-wide,
OPTIFIL P has
become synonymous with superb quality film.
Other essential features of VAREX blown
film lines include
internal bubble cooling, MULTINIP multi-functional oscillating
haul-off with driven turning bars, as well as gravimetric metering.
Highly tacky film or film with extremely soft or rough surface
characteristics is processed using the W&H NOSTIC concept
which, in addition to the NOSTIC AIR
CAGE, encompasses air turning bars in the oscillating haul-off
and various non-contact thickness gauges.
All VAREX modules are operated and controlled via the user friendly
PROCONTROL TS
operator interface which comprises
all functions of the extrusion line.
