TOPAS a compact design FFS packaging system featuring a universal application range for bagging free flowing bulk products. The machine excels with a large size range and can be equipped with a number of elements specifically designed to suit the products to be packaged, such as a by-pass hopper, dust removal system, and washing capability. It can therefore be easily adjusted to the most diverse packaging requirements, with filling weights ranging from 5 kg to 50 kg. In addition to the common product weighing method, volumetric dosing is available as an option.

Because of its compact design, the TOPAS can easily be put on rails, wheels, or an air cushion system. Mobilized in such a way, the TOPAS permits bagging of various products at bagging terminals,  positioned under the individual product silos, as need be.

By way of its versatility, outstanding performance capability and reliability, the TOPAS has become the most frequently used FFS- system in the world for the packaging of standard and engineering plastic resins, PVC powder, chemical base and intermediate products, food and pharmaceutical goods, fertilizers, filter sands, wood pellets and a lot more.

Every TOPAS can be optionally equipped with various components like e.g. flying splice roll change capability, handle punch unit, air evacuation system, corner sealing, edge sealing and an explosion-proof design in full compliance with ATEX standards. All of these have proven successfull with many hundred FFS machines supplied by Windmöller & Hölscher.
