W&H's new OPTIMEX high-output, 3-layer blown
film line compliments our established VAREX range. OPTIMEX
(OPTIMum EXtrusion
at an optimal price) is designed to produce
a wide range of top
quality 3-layer films and typical applications include packaging, carrier
bags, laminations and shrink- and
stretch hoods.
The OPTIMEX is manufactured with the precision and quality expected from
W&H and combines the latest in extrusion
technology with a defined line
specification for the production
of perfect films at an attractive price.
While the new design of the OPTIMEX is impressive, the specifications are
more so. The proven MAXICONE C die,
initially developed for the VAREX range,
gives low melt volumes, short melt paths, extremely fast changeovers, and
the best film quality and is controlled by the industry leading and reliable
OPTIFIL P system. The newly developed FILMATIC O winder
wraps up the process
with perfect finished rolls.
With the ergonomic and operator-friendly control panel, operation
is quick to master.
Changeovers on the OPTIMEX can be automated using optional modules, including
EASY-CHANGE and PROFILE BOOSTER.
The reduction in changeover
time, energy and raw material use
are both economically- and environmentally beneficial.
