The NOVOFLEX C
is a direct drive high-performance C.I. sleeve press. Designed
for printing speeds up to 2,000 ft/min (600 m/min), the machine meets the highest
expectations in flexible package printing.
The press section of the NOVOFLEX C excels with:
- heavy, compact and robust closed-frame design with vibration absorbing
cast iron construction
- satellite positioning of colour decks for perfect ink transfer

NOVOFLEX C flexo presses are available with several types of sleeve
handling systems. Printing deck access on the operator's side is provided by
hinged doors, motorized roll-up doors, or with Pre-Make-Ready sliding glass
access doors. For upper deck access, lifting platforms or the PORT-A-SLEEVE
handling system can be supplied. Sleeve change carts ease handling of sleeves
and adapters even further.
Optional features include W&H's multiple award-winning EASY-SET automatic impression setting system and EASY-REG for automatic register setting. Both systems result in a marked reduction in changeover times, an increase in productivity and reduction
in
waste.
The modular NOVOFLEX C
design allows a wide range of configurations including:
- shafted or shaftless flying splice unwinds and rewinds
- hot oil, steam, gas or electric drying air heating
- flexo and gravure in-line stations for laminating and coating or backside printing
The trend to short runs continues, and these advanced features minimize changeover times:
- fully automatic plate and anilox bearings
