With the demand for smaller print orders, easy,
fast and reliable job change-overs are a critical factor for a
large section of rotogravure production and maximum printing
speeds become of secondary importance, with speeds of up to 450
m/min (1476 ft/min) having proved to be adequate.
The HELIOSTAR SL
and SH, available with up to 12 print stations and in printing
widths of 800 – 1300 mm (31.5" - 51"), perfectly
meet these requirements.
The HELIOSTAR SL
has been designed with slide-in carts for conventional
shafted cylinders while the HELIOSTAR SH
is designed for use with hollow cylinders.
The modular design of the HELIOSTAR
gives the freedom
to customize the
press with inline systems such as web turning stations, dryer
variations, laminating stations, alternative winders, web paths and pre-conditioning
units.
Lacquer coating and registered cold seal applications can be
done with ease.
Systems for heavy coating weights are also available and you
have the choice of single or double hood dryers
as well as Jumbo systems using 3 or 4 drying
hoods.
The HELIOSTAR S
can be supplied with shafted or shaftless winders, to suit the
materials to be printed. Maximum available
roll diameter is 1300 mm (51").
EASY-SYNC, the automatic preregister system guarantees quick
job changes and HELIOCONTROL ensures tight register control.
