No matter what type of film you're looking to extrude – barrier, PP, stretch or surface protection – the modular FILMEX cast film line
can can be individually configured to meet your needs.
The FILMEX operates on the chill-roll principle. Resin pellets are melted in the extruders (varying from 3 to 12 depending on the line configuration). In the feed block, streams of melt come together
and are distributed up to 5 m, then cooled in the chill-roll. This principle guarantees excellent optical and mechanical film properties even at very high outputs.
All major groups of polymers, such as PP, PE, PA, EVOH and adhesives can be easily processed. This is ensured by the high modularity of the chill-roll unit, which can be outfitted with a vacuum box air knife or soft box, and various degrees of automation and roller surfaces.
Innovative features, like the pivotal 3-roll cleaning system, which eliminates the cyclical lifting of smooth rolls, reduce marks appearing on the film and increase overall quality.
The cost-effectiveness of the FILMEX can be increased by using modules such as the patented die control PROFILE BOOSTER for quick gauge adjustment or encapsulation of film edges with cost effective materials.
The FILMEX – process automation enables the intuitive operation
of all machine components via the central PROCONTROL TS operator console.
