Regardless of whether the extrusion of barrier, PP or stretch film
is involved or whether it is film products for specific applications such as surface protection or sanitary and hygiene products,
or whether a single-purpose or universal system is demanded,
the FILMEX cast film line can be customized to any specific needs
and requirements, because it is modularly designed.

The FILMEX operates on the chill roll principle which means
that independent of whether single- or nine-layer film or even microlayer film with 28 or more layers is to be processed, the
melt is cast on to a chill roll and shock-cooled. This method guarantees excellent optical and mechanical properties of the
film. The FILMEX is capable of handling all customary polymer groups such as PP, PE, PA, EVOH and tie layer resins equally perfectly. This advantage is attributable, among other things,
to the extensive modularity of the chill roll system which can be optionally equipped with vacuum box, suction doctor, air knife,
or soft box as well as various automation levels and chill roll
surface finishes. Innovative details such as the pivoting 3-roller cleaning system, which eliminates intermittent loading of the cleaning roller, ensure perfect quality film free of marks and blemishes.

The economic efficiency of the FILMEX can be further increased
by incorporating optional modules such as PROFILE BOOSTER,
a module designed to optimize line start-up, or a module that
allows edge encapsulation with less expensive materials.
Equipped with OPTIFIL PLUS, the FILMEX utilizes a unique process automation concept comprising all essential functions of the system, with the PROCONTROL TS operator console providing central touch screen operation via a graphic operator interface.
