The FILMATIC R is capable of handling the most diverse materials and combines outstanding characteristics for perfect quality roll production, while at the same time meeting the highest demands
in terms of speed and output.

The most spectacular features of the FILMATIC R include a
right-angled cut using the vacuum cutover drum, roll start with no foldback, centre drive from the very beginning of a new roll, surface, surface-centre and gap winding capability with or without lay-on roll, minimum line pressures through a weight-compensated lay-on roll.

Ease of operation is provided, for instance, by an integrated roll handling system, a roll cart and a roll shaft extractor featuring automatic shaft inflation and deflation as well as a laser positioning aid to facilitate core alignment.
