The ASTRAFLEX is primarily designed for the printing of flexible packaging materials, such as films, laminates, paper, laminated aluminium foil, etc. Unloading and loading of the ready sleeved plate cylinders and anilox rolls is accomplished with the PORTALIFT robot which changes the cylinders from the front of the machine. Job changes are completed automatically in about the same short time as with sleeve presses, but with no manual lifting.
The ASTRAFLEXalso lends itself to special applications by the integration of in-line stations, e.g. for cold-seal or laminating. The high efficiency and energy-saving drying system can be supplied for use with hot oil, steam, gas, electric or hot water.
The ASTRAFLEX can be equipped with TURBOCLEAN, the computer controlled automatic inking and wash up system, as well as our PMR (Pre-Make-Ready) system for on-the-run changeover of unused decks.
Shafted and shaftless winders are available for roll diameters from 31.5" (800 mm) to 59.1" (1,500 mm). |
