Nelmar Invests in Second
3-layer VAREX
Blown Film Extrusion Line from W&H
Purchase enables the Canadian customer to expand
LINCOLN, RI, December 2008 – Windmoeller & Hoelscher Corporation
announces that
Nelmar Security Packaging Systems of Terrebonne, QC,
Canada has ordered a second
3-layer VAREX blown
film extrusion line. Shipment of the new line to the company’s
150,000
sq. ft. (13,935 m²) Terrebonne production facility is scheduled for
February 2009.
The new 3-layer VAREX blown film extrusion line has a working width
of 71” (1,800mm) and
features the OPTIFIL P3
gauge profile control system for high-output lines. The P3 is a combination
of the OPTIFIL P2
automatic die and MULTICOOL D
dual air ring system. The VAREX line
is also
equipped with W&H’s FILMATIC S
dual surface winder installed in a face-to-face configuration with
reverse winding capability. Incidentally, the installation of W&H's
FILMATIC S
winder will be the
200th installation of its kind worldwide. |
