Next Generation Films, Inc. to Install its 2nd W&H 3-layer
VAREX Blown Film Extrusion Line
New line will be among the highest output lines in North America
with the capability to extrude up
to 2,000 lbs./hr.

Corporation announces the sale of a 126”
(3200 mm) 3-layer
VAREX blown film extrusion line to repeat customer Next
Generation Films, Inc.
of Lexington, OH. The line will be
installed in August 2007 at the company’s Lexington plant.
Next Generation Films installed its first W&H blown film
line – also a 3-layer VAREX – back in 2001.
After
experimenting with technology from other suppliers, the decision
to invest in a 2nd VAREX
extrusion
line marks the company’s
return to W&H as its blown film equipment supplier.
Next Generation Films was founded in 1994 and is a supplier of
specialty films to a variety of markets, including food packaging,
automobile, courier, manufactured housing and protective packaging
segments. The 3-layer VAREX extrusion
line sold to Next Generation Films has a customized high
output configuration
with the capability to extrude up to 2,000 lbs/hr. This configuration
will make Next Generation’s new line among the highest output
blown film lines in North America. The new VAREX
will feature W&H’s
MULTINIP haul-off
with a working width of 126” (3200mm),
the OPTIFIL P2
gauge control system with dual lip air ring and a MAXICONE C
die with a 31.5” (800 mm) die diameter.

Windmoeller & Hoelscher is a leader in the design, manufacture
