W&H to Hold In-house EXPO:
October 10 – 12, 2006 in Lengerich, Germany
Event will highlight the latest developments in the fields
of Printing and Extrusion
LINCOLN, RI, July 2006 – Why wait until K 2007 or DRUPA
2008 to see the latest in printing and
extrusion technology from
W&H? This year, Windmoeller & Hoelscher will stage its
own in-house
EXPO at worldwide headquarters in Lengerich, Germany
from October 10 – 12th. Participants will
have the opportunity
to witness the following machine demonstrations:*
PRINTING
W&H’s comprehensive range of flexographic and gravure
presses will showcase the production
of superior quality prints
at high press speeds and short job changeover times. The focus
will be
on optimizing changeover times and include demonstrations
of the following printing presses:
8-color 62” ASTRAFLEX flexographic press
10-color 51” NOVOFLEX CM flexographic press
8-color 50” PRIMAFLEX CM flexographic press
5-station HELIOSTAR GL gravure press
EXTRUSION
The focus will be on proving that high output does not contradict
flexibility or superior product quality. A special highlight will
be the simultaneous production of 9-layer barrier films on a VAREX line
and the new generation FILMEX cast film system. Participants
will observe demonstrations from the following W&H extrusion
equipment:
3-layer VAREX blown film line showcasing the new compact
MAXICONE C die.
3-layer VAREX blown film line, equipped with the new FILMATIC TX
universal turret winder
9-layer VAREX blown film line showcasing the new 9-layer
MAXICONE die
9-layer FILMEX cast film line, also equipped with the new
FILMATIC TX universal turret winder
