Star Packaging to Install a 52” 8-color
PRIMAFLEX CM from W&H
Features offered on PRIMAFLEX press will increase
company’s capacity
and enable greater flexibility
LINCOLN, RI, March 2006 – Windmoeller & Hoelscher Corporation
announces the sale of a 52”
8-color PRIMAFLEX CM printing press
to first-time customer, Star Packaging, of College Park, GA.
The press
will be shipped to the customer’s College Park facility in early
June for installation this summer.
The PRIMAFLEX purchase allows Star Packaging to decommission two of
its existing presses,
while simultaneously increasing capacity due to
the press’s advanced features. “The Easy-Set, TURBOCLEAN ,
and auto viscosity units make job changeovers quick, simple, efficient
and with minimum waste,” states Star Packaging’s President,
Mike Wilson.
After completing a study of tier one presses, Star Packaging found the
PRIMAFLEX CM to be the
best fit for its business. According to Wilson, “with
the PRIMAFLEX we feel we’ll improve our overall operation, which
will lead to more business.”
